Coach Dannete began her youth fitness career in middle school and throughout high school promoting and hosting spirit nights, pep rallies, drill/cheer competitions, gymnastics meets and the like. She trained as a youth gymnast, held leadership positions on high school spirit squads to include drill team, cheer and coached pop warner cheer squads at local parks and abroad. Her most memorable moment was creating a drill team and cheer program for Kubosaki and Kadena HighSchool in Okinawa, Japan.

Dannete continued her coaching career in gymnastics centers locally and abroad.  For the past 10 years, she has owned and operated KinderDance, International, a franchise, training youth in gymnastics, cheer, dance and tap programs.  Dannete has produced local gymnastics competitions and extra-curricular cheerleading activities for high schools, parks and recreation centers and now endeavors to train gymnasts, cheerleaders and dancers in tumbling skills and techniques for fitness and fun.

GymRatzLA is a member based organization that offers recreational gymnastics classes for beginning and intermediate gymnasts. We focus on mastering the basics through a smaller gym with smaller class sizes.

Coach Shayna found interest in Gymnastics and Cheerleading at the ripe age of three as a mascot for a local high school in Okinawa, Japan. During her youth she competed in numerous meets with various Gymnastics teams, but slowly began to find a greater interest in Cheerleading as a sport. As captain of her high school Varsity cheerleading squad, she loved choreographing routines and chose to take that passion with her to college.

At Penn State University, Shayna used that same love for Cheerleading to lead the squad during her Junior and Senior year of college. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, she partnered with her mother to create GymRatz LA.Together they plan to bring the same shared passion for Gymnastics and Cheerleading to inner city youth and create a brand that will help develop gymnasts, cheerleaders, and dancers with basic skills and techniques for fitness and fun.
